Why?
Much of our artwork hangs on our walls and the walls of a few close friends. We thought that keeping it somewhere more public might be a good idea. So here is that more public place....

This is a painting that I have received more comments about. The inspiration came while spending the night out in southern New Mexico. I love looking straight up into a forested canopy.
A fun part of painting this was the 'reverse layering'. The first thing I painted was the snow on the tops of the branches, then the small branches, and then the large trunks.
