Why?
Much of our artwork hangs on our walls and the walls of a few close friends. We thought that keeping it somewhere more public might be a good idea. So here is that more public place....

Christmas 2002 followed several glorious ski seasons (Japan, Colorado, Utah, Chile, New Zealand) and was a period of my life with some of my best days on a board. This tried to capture the feeling of heli-boarding in the open mountains. The mountains here are not any one specific location, but are a combinations of the best mountains that I skied in that period.
I like to imagine what is going through this boarder's mind as he makes that carve.
I did this card in colored pencils, because I was not in a place where I had access to my paints. I liked the lack of color. I tried to let the whiteness of the snow dominate the scene.
